Right, really now. That last topic was "post your favorite pre-1965 SINGERS," right? ...And in order of talent?

Let's do it right so we can jump all over each others' choices.

For instance, I can't believe someone noted "The Carter Family (esp. Maybelle)" b/c although May is one of the greatest guitar players this country has produced, she can't sing for balls. Particularly in comparison to Sarah. Or many of her contemperaries, female or male.
